- By train(With Renfe trains):
From Madrid , there are trains going to Alcalá de Henares from Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Recoletos and Atocha stations with intermediate stops. From the same station there are trains with final destination Guadalajara which also stops at the University Campus, Alcalá de Henares-Universidad.

Furthermore RENFE has a special service during lectures time called “Tren Civis “(“Civis Train”). It goes from Chamartin to Alcalá and Alcalá-Universidad stations. The train offers a connection between Madrid and the campus of only 21 minutes.

From Madrid, “Continental Auto, S.A” buses are leaving to Alcalá de Henares from “Av. América”,34 (Cartajena tube). The line 227 goes to the Campus. The last stop is next to Polytechnic building. Taking the N-II Madrid-Barcelona and then changing to Meco, take Alcalá de Henares (Hospital Universitario) exit, which is located in 33, 6 km. - Communications with the Campus
The University of Alcalá Campus is connected with Madrid and Guadalajara through the RENFE trains. It is also connected with the city centre of Alcalá de Henares via urban buses.

Take the train line C2 (Guadalajara-Chamartín) from Guadalajara train station to Alcalá de Henares-Universidad. Train timetables indicated in the internet website: www.renfe.es . - By bus:
In Guadalajara buses arrive at "Dos de Mayo" street (no number) and from the same place they departure. The timetable is from 6.15 to 21.00 h. It takes you an hour and a half from Madrid and Alcalá de Henares. In Alcalá de Henares buses have the stop at "La Dehesa" shopping centre. - By car:
Take N-II (to Madrid ) and change over to Meco, Alcalá de Henares (Hospital) exit located at kilometre 32,2.

APPROACH:
Polytechnic School, central office of the Computer Science School is located in the external campus of the University of Alcalá .
In the campus, the Polytechnic building is located in the northwest side of the area.
There are urban buses from the centre of Alcalá to the university campus: you can take lines L-2 and L-3. Line L-2P ,which go exactly to the building of the Politechnic School (the last stop)
**RENFE card for students
The students interested in purchasing this card need to go to the Management Administration of your School (Administración y Gerencia) with your student card. There, you will fill out another RENFE card with your name, ID (Identity card) and studies.
With this card, the student will have to pay at the RENFE station office, the place of origin.
Movements in the Campus:
There is a free transport service moving around the Campus. It is a train which goes to the different Faculties and Schools (including Alcalá-Universidad halt train stop “Alcalá –Universidad apeadero”) all the day long.
